    Former Nielsen Advanced TV SVP to Oversee RPD Audience Measurement Research Services for North American Operations

    New York, NY, September 7 -- Kantar Media’s Audiences sector, which provides TV, Internet, and radio audience measurement worldwide, has named Jeffrey C. Boehme to the position of Chief Research Officer for its North American operations.

    As Chief Research Officer, Boehme will oversee the company’s research efforts with a particular focus on methods and procedures, advanced measurement methods, and modeling. He will serve as the chief liaison for the Audiences sector with industry associations and support initiatives to identify and advance new products and applications for Return Path Data (RPD).

    Boehme was most recently Senior Vice President, Advanced TV, for The Nielsen Company, where he spearheaded development of advanced strategic directions and innovative insights for RPD and clickstream data. In addition to securing relationships with RPD providers, acquiring and processing RPD data and developing advanced consumer metrics, Boehme was responsible for the overall development of Nielsen’s strategic vision and implementation of RPD value propositions, and served as the company’s liaison to various industry organizations, including CIMM, CRE, TVB, CAB and ARF.

    Boehme has an extensive and varied background as a leader in audience measurement and research.  Prior to The Nielsen Company he served as Senior Vice President, Research and Marketing, for National Cable Communications, where he led initiatives in the development of spot cable advertising media metrics and defining audience value of MSO owners to advertisers and agencies.  He also served as Director of Research and Marketing for National Cable Advertising and Director of Research for Seltel, Inc., as well as serving in various sales and audience measurement positions for Cap Cities/ABC and the NBC Television Network.

    Boehme will be based in the New York North American headquarters of Kantar Media.
