    Responsibilities:

    Our Programmer Analyst position is exciting for individuals who want to combine their programming and technical skills with an analytical mindset.  You will work with our massive database of Internet clickstream behavior and ongoing survey data, as well as help build a completely new, high-scale platform for mining web data!  You will play a key role in innovation which will help keep us on top of our game.  If you want to do something innovative and technical right out of school that will help you build your professional career, come talk to us. 
    Specific responsibilities include:
    • Assist our Solutions Architecture team in production of Business Intelligence dashboards
    • Work closely with other team members to define innovative products and services tailored to the needs of existing and prospective clients;
    • Analyze consumer behavior data which can include data mining, data modeling, etc
    • Interface with Compete's proprietary database to extract relevant data
    • Use your development skills in all of the above
    Experience Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Proven skills with at least ONE programming or database language (Java, C, C++, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Perl)
    • Experience with large datasets and data queries
    • Interest in quantitative research, analytical techniques, data and programming
    • Exceptional problem solving and business communication skills
    • Self motivated, innovative with a strong entrepreneurial drive and spirit
