    This position plays a lead role in designing, coding, testing, and implementing data collection systems for the Broadcast Collection Systems department. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft .NET, C# and integrating with Microsoft SQL Server databases; exhibit high standard of software development skill (problem decomposition, modular design, rigorous testing, knowledge of C# environment and language); and skills to define development tasks, estimate them appropriately, and communicate with project manager.

    Responsibilities:

    Design interfaces and data models to solve current needs but flexible for future enhancements; Contributes and provides significant contributions in the design, coding, testing, support and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software;  Collaborates with other developers and provides significant contributions to develop specifications to resolve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement needs;  Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support;  Ability to technical-lead and work with other team members and to work with and understand business client requirements

    Experience Required

    5+ years experience with some combination of the following: (C++, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, IIS, web services, XML, MSMQ);  2+ years experience with C# in a data collection / data processing Environment;   2+ years experience with SQL and SQL Server.  Sybase experience a plus;  Knowledge of relational database design concepts, experience with C# / MS SQL integration;  Experience using Version Control tools, like SourceSafe;  Experience with Tandem Non-Stop Mainframe and TAL language a plus but not necessary;  Knowledge of object oriented design techniques
